Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Compliance Cover platform and services provided by Hotline Labs Ltd ("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 11873778).

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform" means the Compliance Cover software application and related services
  • "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform
  • "Customer" means the organisation that has subscribed to our services
  • "Data" means any information uploaded to or processed by the Platform

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscription and Payment

Our services are provided on a subscription basis:

  • Pricing is based on employee count as displayed on our pricing page
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • All fees are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice

5. Free Trial

We offer a 28-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the service. We will not delete your data immediately if you choose not to subscribe.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Transmit any malicious code or harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Platform without authorisation

7. Data Ownership and Security

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Platform. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data. We act as a data processor on your behalf and will process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, design, and content, remain the property of Hotline Labs Ltd. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your internal business purposes during your subscription.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
